Small 19th century sculpture made of mecca gilded wood, sculpted in the round. The sculpture depicts a full-figure angel 23 cm high and missing arms. Of fine workmanship, the position facing one side suggests that it was a decorative element of an important frame or cymatium. Newly applied pedestal.
