Pair of “Pozzetto” Armchairs – Central Italy, Early 20th Century

A pair of solid and comfortable armchairs with an enveloping “pozzetto” shape, crafted from carved wood and finished in a white décapé lacquer.

Made in Central Italy in the early decades of the 20th century, they have been carefully restored and expertly reupholstered, with hand-stitched vegetal horsehair padding and feather-filled cushions to ensure comfort and long-lasting quality.

The light tone of the lacquer, combined with the softness of the lines, allows these armchairs to brighten any interior with a touch of natural elegance.

Living with awareness

Choosing pieces like these means making a conscious decision. They are well-built objects, worth restoring and putting back into use, rather than discarding them in favor of mass-produced items—often poorly made and designed to be quickly replaced.

It’s a different way of living: more respectful, more personal. It means recognizing the value of craftsmanship, of the stories embedded in each piece, and using one’s own sensitivity to create an interior that truly reflects those who live in it.

It’s not just about taste or price. It’s about a different mindset—between those who simply fill spaces without thinking, and those who seek meaning in their choices, even by standing against careless, impersonal consumption that justifies waste in the name of low cost.

Here, we choose. We don’t just consume.
