This piece, of Lombard origin from the Louis Philippe period (early 19th century), is made from high-quality wood and showcases expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. It has been meticulously restored to preserve its integrity and charm.
The slightly protruding, flared shape of the top drawer—a popular design of the time—earns this piece its nickname in the antique trade as a "cappuccino" chest of drawers.
During the restoration process, we incorporated a hidden cavity behind the drawers, discreetly housing a 40-inch television with a remote-controlled, silent lift system. This innovative solution allows the TV to be completely concealed when not in use, blending tradition with modern functionality.
